Why that is wrong
God made you in his image. He is a maker, so you are a maker. He wove joy and creativity into you on purpose. Burying that under duty is not holy. It wastes what he gave you.
The conviction
Discerning your calling is not optional
Here is the hard truth most people will not tell you.
You can probably reach heaven without ever finding your calling. God's grace is that big. But you will have lived a smaller life than the one he dreamed for you.
The most meaningful life, the most impactful life, the life that stores up the highest treasure in heaven, is the one where you discern your kingdom calling and follow it. That is not a bonus round. It is the assignment.
You were not an accident. God shaped you on purpose, for a purpose. To bury that under duty, fear, or a paycheck you settled for is to hide the very thing he made. Why would you risk it?
The question is not whether you will get in. It is whether you will become who God made you to be.

The process we walk to find your calling
Finding your calling is not a lightning bolt or a personality quiz. It is a process: six Spirit-led steps we walk together, from laying down your own plans to naming the calling and walking it out.
Surrender
Lay down your own plans first. You cannot hear a calling with clenched fists.
Behold
Fix your eyes on God before the assignment. You are called to Someone before you are called to something.
Discern
Read your life through the instruments: your SHAPE, your spiritual gifts, the Four Signals, the burden you can't shake, and where you fit in the body. Where they converge, the calling hides.
Blueprint
Put it on one page: God's assignment, and how it becomes your work and your provision.
Walk
Step into it. Peace confirms you are on the assignment. Obedience leads, provision follows.
Review
Keep listening. Callings deepen over time, and no one is ever uncalled.

Questions people ask before they book
Is this prosperity gospel or some Christian hustle thing?
No. I will not sell you the lie that obeying God guarantees a payday, and I will not help you monetize a calling you have not actually discerned. The order here is simple: you obey, and provision follows. We build the work that carries your calling, but the calling always leads and the money always serves it.
Do I have to be a Christian for this to work?
This is built around following Christ, so it assumes you want God at the center of what you do. But if you are still figuring faith out and you genuinely want to know what you were made for, the conversation is still worth having. Book a call and we will be honest with each other about whether it is a fit.
What if I have no idea what my calling is? What if I already kind of know?
Both are fine. You do not need clarity to start, that is the whole point of the Process. If you are starting from zero, we find it. If you already sense it, we name it precisely and build the work around it. Most people are somewhere in between.
Is this only for pastors or full-time ministry?
No. The idea that only church work counts as calling is exactly the error this fixes. Your calling might be a company, a craft, a body of art, a public platform, a classroom. Ordinary work done for God is not second-class. We treat your actual assignment as the real thing, because it is.
What if I am not sure I am called to lead?
Leading here does not mean a title or a stage. It means stewarded influence in whatever God actually made you for, shaping your corner of culture or the future under obedience, not chasing status. If you sense there is a specific thing you are meant to build, you are in the right place, whether or not you would ever call it leadership.
